Sorry there wasn’t a blog update yesterday. The Revivalists have gone our separate ways this week to be with our families, and it’s amazing how quickly some things can fade from the forefront of my mind when I’m home.
Last weekend was pretty sleepless. Our Friday show, we closed out the evening at Fatty Arbuckle’s in Shreveport (playing after our dear friends Papa Grows Funk), which meant we played from about 3:30-5:45. AM. And that wasn’t even our latest night.
Long, sad story short: Casinos are bad news.
Anyway, I’m sure you’re all as immersed in family and friends as I am, so I won’t keep you too long. In the immediate future The Revivalists are going to be focused mainly on developing new material (and possibly getting some of it recorded!), so don’t be surprised if you find that I have less to say in the coming weeks.
