Join our faceboook event! Somedays are just awesome. The number eleven has an iconic place in rock and roll history. If you’ve ever seen a Revivalists show you know that we have almost adopted this concept as a mantra (that or “Rock n Roll don’t turn down” said in your most red neck accent)…my point is that we play loud notes. Here’s the thing, every year there’s an 11/11 and its fun, but this year, this day, this show is going to go to 11 not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES!!!
In addition to this show going to eleven/eleven/eleven. It also represents a great day in history. If you’re a friend of Rob’s you might already know what I am talking about. That’s right, 25 years ago my parents (this is Andrew talking) decided out of sheer will to have me born on November 10th so that every year there would be a birthday party that serves as a pre-party for the all out madness that is…ARMISTICE DAY! That’s right on November 11th, 1918 World War I ended. So come on out and celebrate the day that freedom won. That is what this day is really all about. You may be wondering why I said that friends of Rob would already know about armistice day. Think about it, does anyone you know love America or Freedom as much as Robert Gertrude Ingraham? Could such a freedom lover have been born on any day other than 11/11? Can you imagine a world in which Robert Claire Ingraham was not born on the anniversary of the day when Freedom vanquished evil for the first time.
Recap: 11/11/11 is awesome. The Revivalists and Rotary Downs are playing. It is Robert VICTORY Ingraham’s birthday. It is the day after Andrew Campanelli’s Birthday. It costs $12 (kinda seems silly not to charge $11 doesn’t it??) and Michael-phone Girardot is going to be playing in BOTH BANDS, so even if you hate Spinal Tapp, Freedom, Rob and myself you should just come to see Michael-phone be amazing at stuff.
